All Quiet On The Western Front

Hello all!

I realize that things have been relatively inactive here on In The Pink(ies) in the last few weeks. Don't worry! All is not forgotten - there is a good reason why things are on the quiet side. Yes, we are having a very important chat about the impact of "new media" that is, the internet and associated web services, on the Pinkies. As you might imagine there are very real concerns about privacy, and until we come up with good guidelines about what can and cannot be published, I'm afraid that regular readers aren't going to get much by way of Pink Singers updates on this blog.

The other reason is that given the bank holidays and the fact that I am now in New York on a short break (with all my music and rehearsal tracks of course!) I haven't really had a chance to keep abreast of the news. In fact, there is a lot of it, but without letting the cat out of the bag just yet, we have festivities palnned for the 25th anniversary. If you are a Pink Singer and want to take part, please get in touch with Lynne over on the Pink Singers main website ASAP!

We are also planing in advance for a concert at a big venue at the end of the year, a Christmas concert with carols if you will. It is going to be a big challenge and we seriously need all the help we can get.

In the interim, I leave you with some wise words from Calpernia Addams on Bad Questions To Ask A Transsexual.
